This weekend, I wandered up to Fisherman's Wharf for the Festival of the Sea. I ended up missing the festival, but I wandered from Hyde Street Pier back to the transbay bus terminal to get home. I took the walk as an opportunity to do some street photography. I pared down the 350+ shots I took on the Nikon D3100 to fifteen. All of the photos below were shot on the Nikon D3100 with an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Auto Focus-S Nikkor zoom lens and post-processed using Aperture. I also took a few Polaroid shots and a few shots with VSCO.

I tried to stick to manual focus and manual aperture and shutter speed. However, when I was walking down the street, I often put it in autofocus and aperture priority to be able to take shots quickly. Many of these shots were full-zoom and wide-open aperture, and about half were taken with the camera at my chest while walking.
