PSYOP for the common man

I'm starting a new writing project at the bequest of some friends: explaining psychological operations and influence operations with the goal of helping people identify, understand, and counter the myriad influence operations that we are all being saturated with these days.

I'm setting a personal goal of publishing once a week there, and calling it "PSYOP for the common man."

On Citizenship

At the end of the day, a Citizen must struggle against the decay of their minds, body, and character. Sometimes, that requires violence of action. Sometimes, that requires polite society to build for the future. Sometimes, that requires putting your shopping cart back in the corral.

Stoicism, Bushidō, and Chivalry: Towards a personal code of ethics

The world is complicated, and full of grey areas. I've personally found it helpful to maintain a personal code of ethics; this essay is more or less a writeup of my journey to date, with a brief explanation of how I understand and apply certain virtues.
